Fra "har vi råd til det?" til færdigt projekt på 2 dage

A customer faced a choice: cut back the project or drop it altogether. By sending the request out to the market, they got the full solution, DKK 0 down payment, and a deal in place within 48 hours.

The challenge

The customer needed new equipment for several departments in the business. To keep control of the finances, they chose a step-by-step approach: start with one department and take the rest later.

The budget was set at DKK 1m, but the supplier's quote came to DKK 1.3m. The missing DKK 300,000 meant, in practice, one of two scenarios: either the customer had to compromise and buy a scaled-down version of what they actually needed, or the investment had to be postponed indefinitely. With the budget already under pressure, there was no room at all to think about the other departments that were also waiting.

A classic dilemma: a good project. The wrong match on financing.

Our approach

The customer already had an offer from one bank. The problem was that it was only one offer, and it did not fit.

At Leasing Helper we instead sent the request out broadly to the market and let several lessors bid for the job. Instead of the customer spending time phoning around and hoping for the best, we searched the market for them and put the companies in competition to give the strongest offer.

This resulted in one of the companies being willing to go further than just financing the DKK 1.3m. They offered a considerably higher credit line. That changed the whole nature of the situation. It was no longer about prioritising between departments or scaling back ambitions. The whole project could be started at once.

The conversation shifted immediately from: "Can we afford this?" To: "Does it make sense in the monthly cash flow?"

That is a completely different and far more comfortable conversation to have as a business owner.

The result

It took only 48 hours from enquiry to signed agreement.

By letting the market compete, the customer got:

  • The full solution, so they did not have to settle for a scaled-down version, but exactly what they originally wanted from their supplier.
  • The whole project started at once, instead of department by department over several years.
  • DKK 0 down payment. No liquidity tied up, no capital locked in.
  • A strong leasing agreement at the market's best price.
  • A setup tailored to the company's cash flow, not the other way round

The point

This is what happens when you send an enquiry out to the whole market instead of settling for a single offer.

At Leasing Helper we do not negotiate the customer's project ourselves. Our strength is knowing the market and quickly finding the lessors that can and will actually finance what the customer needs. By letting several companies bid on the same job, the chance of a higher credit line, a better price and a faster answer increases markedly.

For our customers this means they do not have to spend time researching the market or guessing who can help. You describe what you want to buy, and we send it out to the market and find the best and cheapest way there.
